Brian Sullivan lascerà il posto di chief executive di Sky Deutschland a partire dal 24 giugno. Prenderà il suo posto Carsten Schmidt, attuale chief officer dell’area sports, internet e pubblicità. Schmidt in questi mesi affiancherà Sullivan prima di prenderne il posto.
LONDON — Brian Sullivan is to step down on June 24 as chief executive of German-language pay TV service Sky Deutschland. Carsten Schmidt, Sky Deutschland’s chief officer sports, advertising sales and Internet, will take over as topper.
Schmidt takes on the new role of deputy chief executive with immediate effect and will work alongside Sullivan before taking over as chief exec. Schmidt has served on Sky Deutschland’s management board since 2006, after joining the company in 1999. In his current position, his responsibilities include sports programming and rights acquisition, online activities and advertising sales.
Darroch, group chief executive of Sky and chairman of Sky Deutschland’s supervisory board, commented: “Brian has made a huge contribution to Sky Deutschland over the last five years. He has built an excellent team, who have delivered a step-change in growth and opened up the significant future opportunity for Sky in Germany and Austria.”…
