Donald Trump attacca di nuovo la Cnn dicendo che il suo presidente Jeff Zucker dovrebbe essere licenziato. “L’odio e l’estrema parzialità della Cnn contro di me ha annebbiato il loro pensiero e li ha resi incapaci di funzionare”, scrive su Twitter il presidente americano, aggiungendo che “il piccolo Jeff Z ha fatto un pessimo lavoro, i suoi ascolti crollano” e dovrebbe essere “licenziato”. In un successivo tweet, il capo della Casa Bianca se la prende anche l’emittente Nbc che “è anche peggio” della Cnn. L’attacco segue i due ravvicinati a Google e quello di poco tempo fa ai social network, Facebook e Twitter soprattutto.

La richiesta di licenziare Zucker è stata preceduta ieri sera da un affondo via Twitter contro Carl Bernstein uno dei giornalisti che svelarono lo scandalo del Watergate. Il presidente lo ha definito “un uomo che vive nel passato e pensa come un pazzo degenerato”, aggiungendo che si “inventa storia dopo storia”. Motivo dello scontro, spiega il Washington Post, è un servizio della Cnn basato su una notizia di Bernstein. Secondo il servizio, Trump era al corrente dell’incontro alla Trump tower fra i suoi collaboratori e un’avvocatessa russa, uno degli episodi al centro delle indagini sul Russiagate.
